The Event:
The first-of-its-kind augmented reality (AR) game that turned America into a live board game to promote financial literacy in a fun and engaging way. People across the country had a chance to grow their fortunes by winning up to $50,000 in cash, a new Jeep Wrangler, and other prizes totaling $1 million, all while learning smart money tips and supporting Junior Achievement.
The Solutions
As a way to draw attention to the game and act as a focal point for social sharing we created three distinct large scale true to form game pieces. Internal steel armatures and an series of layered finishes allowed for a hammer strong hard shell and smooth exterior. We scouted and permitted and negotiated each location for the extended period of preview and play.
The Takeaway
For two weeks in six cities players of the game captured snaps of the scottie dog, hat and car through all sorts of weather. The durability of the units kept them pristine and our security team kept them intact.
